VSM - Competitive Salary
Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust and Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
To improve the sustainability of our services, the Boards of Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust (RCHT) and Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CFT) have recently agreed the principle of a “One Workforce” approach to facilitate NHS recruitment and retention, support the development of staff and facilitate service transformation. We are also working closely with system partners and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Integrated Care Board on this approach.
CFT provides NHS community, mental health, dementia and learning disability services across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. WE employ more than 4,000 staff based on our 10 main sites and in local communities, enabling care to be provided as close as possible to where people live. We have wonderful staff whose care, drive and commitment is outstanding and has been unfailing during the challenges of recent years.
At Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust our vision is Aspiring to Provide Brilliant Care to One and All, and we are the main provider of acute and specialist care services for the county. Our 6,700 staff work across three main sites to deliver these services and we are proud of our teaching hospitals status as part of the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry and the University of Exeter Medical School. Reflecting the high standards of care on offer, recent patient surveys show that over 90% of patients rate their overall experience of services as excellent, very good, or good.
It is to this complex but exciting backdrop that we seek to appoint our Dual Chief People Officer. We are looking for an exceptional individual who will empower and enable our people to deliver outstanding care for the communities we serve. Of equal importance will be the ability to work with our partners and the ICB to ensure that as a System our people strategies are joined up and in the best interests of our staff and patients.
We are looking for an experienced board level HR leader, with experience of delivering change and transformation across complex organisations of significant size and scale. Experienced in successfully leading significant organisational and cultural change, we need someone with experience in driving positive change around diversity and inclusion, who is inspired to make our Trusts great places to work, learn and develop.
If you feel you can see your values reflected in our own visions and values, then we would love to hear from you. For more information click on Apply or for a confidential discussion contact Melanie Shearer or Lucy Deane on 07825 990 792 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
