This is an exceptional opportunity for a forward-thinking and highly engaging Chief Delivery Officer to help us achieve our vision and purpose. You will be an instrumental leader in the local health and care system, working collaboratively with System partners and as a member of the unitary board, the post holder will make a significant contribution to achieving the key purpose of the ICB.

Reporting to the Chief Executive you will lead on all matters relating to delivery, including performance improvement and delivery oversight, surge and winter planning and delivery, specialist commissioning and Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) for the system.

This is a full-time role, with flexibility around base/location blended with travel and remote working.

Subject to the passage of the Health and Care Bill, and any potential amendments made to that Bill, appointment will be made formally by the ICB Chair / Chief Executive on establishment on 1st July 2022.

Our system represents a joint commitment demonstrated by NHS and local authority partners to transform the way we provide health and care across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

Subject to legislative approval, our ICS will take on statutory form in July 2022 and following the appointment of our Chair Designate Prem Singh and Interim Designate Chief Executive Peter Axon, we are now embarking on the process of appointing two further Executive roles, each of whom will play a pivotal role in the development of the Integrated Care Board (ICB).
