St Elizabeth's is a charitable organisation that supports children, young people and adults with severe epilepsy and other complex medical conditions and learning disabilities. We provide support through holistic care, health and education services in a safe environment that enables vulnerable individuals to maximise their personal potential in all areas of life. We are about to embark on an exciting investment programme that is designed to further enhance our service offerings and residential space for our clients.

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Fundraising to join our Senior Leadership Team to manage and develop the charity’s new relationships with large charitable trusts, major donors and high value individuals to deliver against the fundraising strategy for St Elizabeth’s that maximises sustainable net voluntary income.

The Director of Fundraising also has a wider strategic role in helping deliver a leading-edge Fundraising strategy to raise the profile of St Elizabeth’s, which is instrumental in developing the underlying operational plans to achieve a multi-million target over the next 3 years. This role will oversee the management of the day to day operations of the charity’s Fundraising department, will lead on the brand and marketing function and will play a critical role in driving a culture that embraces change, innovation and forward-thinking.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record in Fundraising Management, along with substantive experience of developing and expanding trust fund portfolios, major donor and corporate and individual giving. You will ideally have an existing network and will be aware of charity and fundraising legislation that would affect St Elizabeth’s.

You will have excellent communication and networking skills as you will be required to represent the organisation to high profile donors and work closely with the CEO as part of the Senior Leadership Team. You will be a value-driven professional, with experience of working within a similar role and environment with the ability to exhibit strong fundraising and commercial nous but at the same time, willingness, and commitment to support the ethos and values of St. Elizabeth’s.
