As part of a newly formed Leadership Team we are looking to appoint an Executive Director of Corporate Affairs and Assurance to our Executive Board. As a key member of our senior management team you will be primarily responsible for establishing sound governance procedures that will ensure quality, efficiency, effectiveness, integrity and business focus for the Trust with Board level responsibility for ensuring the Trust is adequately prepared to comply and secure compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks.
You will ensure that Board and Governor meetings are run efficiently and effectively, are properly supported and comply with their legal, fiduciary and other duties. You will be the Trust Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO), have overall ownership of the Organisation’s Information Risk Policy, act as champion for information risk on the Board and provide a written governance statement to the CEO in regard to information risk. Importantly you will role model and display the trust values and behaviours whilst empowering and enabling local leaders in making governance everybody’s business.
We are seeking an exceptional individual who will empower and enable our teams to embed good governance practice. With significant corporate governance experience you will be confident operating at Board level in a complex, regulated environment with a proven track record of embedding robust governance, assurance and risk management frameworks. With excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail, you will bring a positive influence to our Board whilst we focus on closer working and greater integration of health and care services, in order to provide the very best outcomes for our population.
