Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) provides a range of mental health, intellectual disability and community physical health provision across low, medium and high secure services, including Rampton Hospital.  Serving a diverse population of over a million people across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, the Trust operates across several sites, has an annual turnover of £470m and employs over 9,000 members of staff.  We are also now the Lead Provider for Adult Secure Services across the East Midlands.

At this critical time for health and care services, we are seeking a new Executive Director of Partnerships and Strategy who shares our values, passion and our ambitions.  Joining our inclusive and supportive Executive team; this is a broad role with responsibility for developing our refreshed strategy, leading our extensive partnership work, our programme management office and our contracting function.  Working effectively with stakeholders at all levels, you will influence across our organisation and our partners throughout the Nottingham and Nottinghamshire ICS.  Building on our strong reputation; you will develop existing partnerships as well as identify and drive forward new, innovative, and exciting collaborations; ensuring also that we contribute and respond to changes in future commissioning arrangements.  We are committed to reducing inequality in our populations and we have a real opportunity to do this through our relationships with partners in education, housing and access to employment.

Bringing well developed influencing and networking skills, you will have experience of leading strategic partnerships at or close to Board level in complex organisations or systems.  NHS experience is not essential, we are also interested to hear from those who share our values and who bring transferable experience from sectors tackling wider determinants of health.  An effective communicator, you will articulate a long term vision at a local, regional and national level, be ambitious for our Trust and for the people that we serve.  Demonstrating a successful track record in developing and maintaining key relationships; and the ability to unite people and bring programs of work together, you will be skilled in operating across organisational boundaries.  Thriving in a team environment you will demonstrate the ability to contribute to other Executive portfolios.  This rewarding role presents a unique opportunity to help to build a strong, exciting and more sustainable future for services we provide to the most vulnerable people in society.
