Humber, Coast and Vale Integrated Care System
Start well, live well, age well
The Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Integrated Care System is a collaboration of nearly 30 different organisations across a geographical area of more than 1,500 square miles, taking in cities, market towns and remote rural and coastal communities. We are working together to plan for the future of health and care services in our area and to find new ways to tackle the challenges that we face locally.
As a Partnership, we have an agreed ambition that we want to achieve for our population. In everything we do, we are helping local people to start well, live well, and age well. We want to become a health improving system rather than an ill-health treating system, which means shifting the focus of our services from picking people up when they fall to helping to prevent them from becoming unwell in the first place, and our new Executive Director of People will have a key role to play in this.
Leading on the production and delivery of a five-year People plan for the ICS, our Director of People will be responsible for working with partners across the system, including on equality, diversity and inclusion, recruitment across the ICS, the role of the NHS as an anchor organisation, and in working on wider people challenges across the ICS. Working closely with the Chief Executive, you will help ensure that the ICB is “Well Led”, as well as taking a direct role in all senior recruitment across the region. We are looking for an experienced HR and People Director, with experience of driving significant change and transformation across complex NHS organisations, with a track record of success in addressing discrimination and inequalities.
