The Humber, Coast and Vale Health and Care Integrated Care System is a collaboration of nearly 30 different organisations across a geographical area of more than 1,500 square miles, taking in cities, market towns and remote rural and coastal communities. We are working together to plan for the future of health and care services in our area and to find new ways to tackle the challenges that we face locally.

We want to become a health improving system rather than an ill-health treating system, which means shifting the focus of our services from picking people up when they fall to helping to prevent them from becoming unwell in the first place, and our new Executive Director of Clinical and Professional Services will have a key role to play in this.

Our Executive Director of Clinical and Professional Services will be responsible for providing professional leadership to our clinical colleagues across the region, working to ensure that patients are at the heart of all we do. Together with the Executive Director of Nursing and Quality, the role will lead on overseeing the quality of health services within the ICS, including working with the ICB board to ensure population health management, innovation and research all inform decision making.  With a track record of driving quality improvements at significant size and scale, we are looking for an experienced medical director to take on this post, with a passion for working in partnership with a range of stakeholders.
