There has never been a more exciting time to join North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC) as we move into a new era for healthcare provision to provide more joined up care for patients across community and acute hospital services.

NCIC provides acute hospital and community health services to a population of around half a million people. We are responsible for delivering over 70 services across 15 main locations and we employ over 6,500 members of staff.

Before the Trust was formed on 1st October 2019, the former Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust successfully worked together with partners in the wider North Cumbria health and care system to become one of the first 14 areas nationally to be confirmed as an Integrated Care System in May 2018.

The Trust includes the words ‘integrated care’ in the title to set it apart from what has gone before - with the Trust working side-by-side with partners across the North East and Cumbria and the wider community to join up health and care for our patients as well as bringing our workforces together.

The Executive Director of Finance and Estates role works closely with the executive team and senior leadership teams across the Trust, North Cumbria Integrated Care Partnership and the North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care System.
