We are Valleys to Coast Housing. We are a non-profit making organisation who provides and manages nearly 6,000 homes across Bridgend in South Wales. We provide homes where they are most needed, and support people to live independent lives in places where they feel safe and happy.

Our Corporate Strategy 2021-2031 outlines how we aim to meet the ever-changing needs of all of our customers, their communities and our colleagues.  We value people, we think differently, and we have the courage to see things through – acting with conviction, strength and determination.

The role of Director of Governance, Strategy and Performance has a vital role to play in delivering our vision. As part of the Leadership Team, you would be able to share your expertise across the whole business and access a strong, supportive and truly brilliant team that will back you all the way to make this role a success.

The role is broad and provides opportunity for real influence and impact across the organisation. With that it also brings great opportunity for personal growth and development including support towards relevant qualifications and the ability to take on the role of Company Secretary.

Being part of OUR team means being part of the solution to delivering excellent customer service, improving prospects across the Borough, developing and growing a talented workforce, building the right homes in the right places, reducing our environmental impact as a business and making sure that our customers are happy and safe in their homes.

When it comes to finding talent, we value diversity in all its facets, including gender, disability, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation and identity. We are particularly interested in attracting individuals with diverse backgrounds and experience that can add value to our organisation.

If you require a confidential discussion, please contact our advising consultants at GatenbySanderson: Zoe Wortley on 07393 013 066 or Elise Kanareck 07803 208 258.

The closing date is 9:00am on Monday 6th December 2021.
