Paradigm Housing Group is one of the South-East’s leading housing providers, managing around 15,000 homes across 30 local authorities with a turnover of £130m. Headquartered near High Wycombe and Beaconsfield, we are both a charity and Registered Social Landlord, employing over 400 people.  We have a clear and ambitious view of where we are as an organisation and where we need to get to: providing more homes for people who need them.

This is a very exciting time to be joining Paradigm. Our objective is that Paradigm should be an exemplar organisation in our sector, and we have ambitious plans for growth based on establishing a sound commercial and financial footing and driving efficiency and best practice across the business.

We have a substantial and well-established development programme and an excellent financial and geographic operating environment, and we are now exploring opportunities to make the best use of our existing landholdings.  Specifically, we are seeking to identify opportunities for us to develop partnerships with a range of stakeholders including Homes England, local authorities, land agents, developers and other key strategic partners.

We are recruiting to the role of Senior Programme Manager - Development, reporting to our Executive Director of Development and Sales, to lead on all aspects of external funding programme management, maintain good relationships with our funders (particularly Homes England) and lead and manage the Programme Team who provide comprehensive support and system improvement to the wider Development team.

You should be an ambitious, ‘can do’ individual with a strong commercial skill set; as well as experienced in leading on the engagement, collaboration and bid management with funding partners. You will have had exposure to a wide range of development programmes including land-led schemes and joint ventures and, as an experienced professional, you will have a detailed understanding of the housing development market.

Paradigm Housing Group are Best Companies 1 STAR accredited organisation in recognition of our high employee engagement and offer a welcoming and friendly environment. We are clearly focussed on the delivery of our five year corporate plan with ambitious and challenging objectives including improving our environment and sustainability targets to deliver quality homes to people who need them.

We’re proud to offer great benefits and have a committed approach to employee wellbeing. We offer an attractive range of benefits such as Health Cash Plan, Bonus potential, a competitive Pension and 25 days holiday on starting in addition to 3 days closure at Christmas, up to 3 paid Volunteer days p/a, free parking at our modern office with newly created collaborative workspaces.

This is a great opportunity to join us at a time when you can have a real and personal impact on determining our future direction. At Paradigm, whilst we work hard, we offer an attractive range of benefits and encourage everyone to grow with us. We support flexible ways of working and welcome applications from all sections of the communities we work in.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy earlier than the published date, should a suitable candidate be identified.
