Our current Director of Nursing and Quality is retiring after 11 years in post creating an exciting opportunity for an inspirational nurse leader to join our stable, supportive and developmental Board. As our new Director of Nursing and Quality you will provide strong and effective leadership and advice to ensure all Nursing, Midwifery and AHP professionals deliver consistently safe, kind, effective and high-quality care to our patients. You will also provide oversight to the implementation of the ‘Pathway to Excellence’ programme upon which the Trust has recently embarked. As a member of our Board, you will have a key role in shaping the future of services across East Cheshire, leading and supporting exciting programmes of work in a complex and multifaceted environment, whilst forging strong partner relationships.
This will be a broad and challenging executive leadership role for a progressive and dynamic leader and would suit those operating at board level currently or talented deputies looking to step up to their first executive role. You will bring experience of leading acute services and of working with community services and bring a passion for providing strong professional leadership to the workforce, and high-quality care for patients. Most of all you will share our values, which are central to everything we do.
