We are now seeking to appoint an NED to join us at what is a time of continuing evolution for our Trust - evolution which is set against the backdrop of the unprecedented challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, as we look to ensure the necessary continuity of skills and expertise at Board level, we are seeking a financially qualified individual with a track record of operating at Board level and of serving on or chairing committees, to eventually take on the role of Audit and Assurance Committee Chair.  The individual will join us as we move towards the next chapter in our journey.  One in which there is little doubt that pressure on finance and demands on services will be even further increased as we navigate the aftermath of the current crisis and a sector in the throes of significant reform. 

As a Non-Executive Director you will bring independence and an external perspective, ensuring constructive challenge and scrutiny on our current and future business plans; and support to the continued development and harmonisation of our internal governance, structure and culture. Able to evidence sound judgement and with a demonstrable understanding of governance, above all else you will bring a set of personal values which align to our own and a genuine commitment to the health and wellbeing of the population we support.
