Given the events of the past year, our role has never been more relevant or more important, as collectively, we recover from the current pandemic and seek new relationships with the places in which we live and work.

In the role of Chief Financial Officer, you will perform a key senior leadership role, operating with gravitas, agility and transparency in an organisation with multiple complex high-value funding and revenue streams to support the delivery of our strategy.  Responsible for Finance and Commercial and Legal functions, you will provide inspirational and developmental leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, setting the right culture to ensure that our people are future focused, and equipped and motivated to deliver to the highest standards in an environment that is subject to continual change and external scrutiny.

We are looking for an exceptional C level operations leader who has ideally performed a similar role in an expert, project led environment in which innovation and the maximisation of human capital are imperative to impact, business success and external credibility.  Strategic, commercial, proportionate and supportive, you will be successful in balancing a moderate attitude to risk with a creative approach to problem solving, making things happen within the value set of our organisation, yet with the confidence and credibility to harness others to reality when necessary, to maintain a strong corporate reputation for financial best practice and the utmost probity.  To this end, experience of having worked at the cross-section between the public and private sectors will be of particular interest, along with a strong understanding of the governance supporting public/private investment and grant funding.
