Yorkshire / Flexible
20 April 2021
This is an opportunity for an exceptional Executive Director to join us at an exciting time in our growth plan. We’re looking for someone who passionately believes that finance is an enabler and will bring the strategic vision to help us achieve our considerable ambitions.
We want everyone to have the opportunity to live in a quality home they can afford. We already own and manage nearly 20,000 affordable and social rent homes, with a clear plan to develop 8,000 more by 2030. We’re looking to new ventures, new partnerships and new mergers to help our customers, our business and the region.
Our growth will make the Yorkshire Housing pound go further. By investing in people, processes and technology, growing our in-house repairs, improving our services and maximising our assets, we can put more money into developing more properties and improving our services.
Proud to be more than just a landlord, we aim to consistently deliver a great experience for our customers and be an organisation that people aspire to work with and for. Quite simply, we want to become one of the most dynamic and forward-thinking organisations in the country.
A key member of our Executive Team, you’ll ensure that we keep progressing by driving change whilst also embedding robust financial and risk management. Our Group has huge potential, and you’ll lead a complex financial framework, applying strategic, commercial thinking to enable us to achieve exceptional outcomes for our communities.
Our people, culture and values are central to our success. You’ll work in our unique, agile and flexible way that encourages a better customer and colleague experience. Having advanced your career in social housing or a comparable regulated business, you’ll be a current or aspirant Executive Director who wants to join a customer-focused, forward-thinking organisation. We look for people who are curious, think differently, have impact, and above all make things happen.
