Could you be our Project Director for the Carlisle Southern Link Road?   

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated professional to join Cumbria County Council as a Project Director, working directly on the Carlisle Southern Link Road (CSLR) project. We are welcoming applications from individuals from the construction, infrastructure and highways sectors who can demonstrate exceptional experience in managing successful projects with a high public profile. 

This is a career-defining role and provides a truly exciting opportunity to make an impact for the people of Cumbria. You will be a member of our executive leadership team but will solely focus on the delivery of the CSLR project, building excellent relationships with our delivery partners, engaging with stakeholders, and further enhancing the reputation of Cumbria County Council, both regionally and nationally.

We are looking for a project director with commercial acumen and significant experience of delivering projects in the built environment. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to network effectively, negotiate well, and with significant experience of working in a complex political environment.
