KTN connects ideas, people and communities to drive innovation that changes lives. Our vision is to create a network of innovators so powerful its ideas will change the world.  We consequently operate with breadth; maximising diverse connections spanning government, funders, research and the third sector to connect innovators with new partners and new opportunities beyond their existing thinking.  In doing so, we accelerate ambitious ideas into real-world solutions.

Our unrivalled overview and connectivity enable us to be a trusted guide through a complex global landscape of research, development and innovation, and over the next five years we will build collaborations at a local, national and global level to extend and maximise our impact.  As our new Chair, you will play an important supporting role in the delivery of our new strategy, particularly helping us to develop and maximise our UK government relationships as we pursue our goal of becoming known as the world’s leading innovation network.

We are looking for a commercial, progressive and energetic leader who has previously operated at the most senior levels of Whitehall, either as a senior civil servant, trusted advisor or strategic supplier.  To this end, you will be familiar with UK economic growth agendas and innovation-related public funding, enabling you to help position us appropriately to achieve our goals.

Regardless of background, you will be an experienced Chair, equipped to support and challenge us in equal measure, whilst leading and developing our board to make an outstanding contribution.  You will also play an important external role, advocating and reinforcing our mission, purpose, value and representation at the most senior levels of government and industry, whilst holding us to account over the broader agendas that matter to us.

For an informal conversation, contact our advisors at GatenbySanderson: Stephanie Wilson or Olivia Robinson on 0113 205 6298.  To find out more and to apply click on the button below.
