We are seeking the Founding Chief Executive of GenZ Leaders – the new initiative from the Peter Vardy Foundation. The aim of GenZ is to enable all young people in Scotland to be better leaders, to make better decisions and to give something back to their communities.

The Peter Vardy Foundation is the charitable arm of the Peter Vardy Group (a young dynamic company with Motor Retail, E-Commerce and Software Development companies).  Peter Vardy Ltd gives 10% of its profits to good causes to improve the lives of young and vulnerable people. As part of this mission, it is now developing an exciting new leadership and meta-skills programme, GenZ Leaders. This will be delivered both in the classroom and on-line and it launches to a pilot group of schools in 2021. To deliver this vision we need the best leadership material in the world, the most highly trained teachers to deliver the programme and world class technology to fully engage 275,000 students across Scotland.

We are seeking a new Chief Executive to lead this exciting new organisation and to build a team to deliver the programme to launch in September next year. As Chief Executive you will provide strong and inspirational leadership to develop and deliver our strategic vision, navigate us through a challenging but rewarding environment and lead our ambitious and exciting plans to create and implement our GenZ Leader Programme. Working closely with the Board of Trustees, the new Chief Executive will build and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, while representing and promoting GenZ in a professional and positive manner.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is entrepreneurial, a keen and credible relationship builder, and a demonstrably successful leader of people and programmes. They will be a self-starter and able to translate policy into tangible outcomes, with a broad perspective of the socio-economic context in which we operate. Comfortable in leading a technology-focused business, they will be forward thinking and able to deliver both strategically and operationally. If you are interested in improving the community, preparing the leaders of the future, and bridging the link between business and education, we look forward to your application.
