Dudley is the proud historic capital of the Black Country. The borough enjoys quirky traditions, a gritty industrial heritage, nationally-recognised tourist attractions and outstanding nature reserves. We serve a diverse population who can display an astonishing mix of warmth, honesty and challenge. Add in the Dudley humour and the borough is a great place to call home.

We are an ambitious authority that is committed to delivering our vision to ‘Forge a Future for all’ through working on a longterm plan with our partners and the communities we serve. Together we will grow the economy and create jobs, create a cleaner and greener place and support stronger and safer communities.

It is an exciting time to work in Dudley as we embark on numerous multi-million pound regeneration schemes. Alongside this we have the ongoing challenges of ensuring vulnerable residents receive the services they deserve, especially in the current unique times.
