Scottish National Investment Bank
Delivering a fairer, greener and ambitious future for Scotland
The Scottish National Investment Bank is being established by the Scottish Government to be a mission-based bank, with the ambition and vision to address Scotland’s economic priorities in a sustainable, inclusive and ethical way.
The Scottish Government has committed to providing £2 billion over 10 years to capitalise the Bank; this will make a material difference to the supply of capital to the Scottish economy. The Bank has real potential to transform Scotland’s economy through providing patient and growth capital for businesses, and finance for important infrastructure projects to catalyse private sector investment.
Through its Investment Strategy, the Bank will respond to missions set by Scottish Ministers which will help create and shape future markets, spark innovation and tackle socio-economic challenges. It is expected to become a cornerstone institution in Scotland’s financial landscape.
With the appointment of the Eilidh Mactaggart as Chief Executive Designate, the Scottish National Investment Bank is now looking to recruit an exceptional Executive Director, Partnership and Engagement.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be heavily engaged with industry and other private sector partners in the early stage development of investment opportunities to further the bank’s mission-orientated investment activity. With senior leadership experience, you will have extensive understanding of the public and private sector landscape in Scotland and be enthused by the opportunity to play a key role in establishing a cornerstone institution in Scotland’s financial landscape and must be confident playing a lead role in establishing productive and challenging relationships across the economy.
Driven and ambitious, you will be a confident relationship builder with astute analytical skills, enabling you to assess the impact of investment on the Bank’s missions for Scotland.
We need you to bring passion, energy and innovation to help us realise the ambition of the Scottish National Investment Bank.
