Salvation Army Housing Association is a leading provider of residential centres, foyers, supported accommodation, and move-on housing for single & homeless people in the UK. We work to transform lives by providing solutions to homelessness and enabling customers to develop their own potential.
We are a wholly controlled subsidiary of The Salvation Army and have grown into a specialist provider of support and accommodation across England. Our residents and service users are diverse and include homeless people and families, people recovering from drug/alcohol issues, young mothers, elderly requiring support, and families fleeing domestic violence, ex-offenders and people with learning disabilities or mental health issues.
We are now looking to recruit to the role of Head of Supported and General Needs Housing to contribute to the delivery of our corporate strategic objectives and strengthen the great work we do in making a difference in peoples’ lives
This is an integral role in our organisation, you will take the lead in delivering income maximisation, contract management and tendering, safeguarding, and housing operations. We are seeking an individual who isn’t afraid to take tough decisions. This role needs someone who is as comfortable driving forward service excellence as supporting our executive and Board. Someone who works collaboratively with other teams across the organisation, our partners and parent company – all with the aim of driving efficiency and delivering vital housing and support services.
We want to hear from ambitious professionals, who see no limits to what we can achieve – individually and collectively. Applicants for this role will need to be open to dealing with the real issues, to new ways of solving problems, to other points of view, to the benefits of adopting best practice from others, and have a clear desire and commitment to delivering in social housing.
