One Housing Group
At One Housing we create places that people call home and support them to live well.
We are a London-based housing association with over 16,000 homes across London and the South East. This is a very exciting time to be joining One Housing. We are long term investors building for the future with plans to develop over 5,000 homes over the next few years. We’re also a large-scale and widely recognised provider of care and support and have a strong focus on homelessness, training and social mobility.
Alongside our growth plans we’ve embarked on a major transformation programme to modernise and improve our focus on customer service. We are investing in new, state of the art IT systems and in developing our people to increase quality and choice across all that we do.
Our aims and ambition are clear, and we are determined to deliver. We are now recruiting for a Data Protection Manager, an integral role which is part of our strong and specialist compliance and governance team at One Housing Group. This is a high-profile role in our organisation you will be responsible to work across the business to embed data protection and compliance policies, processes, and procedures across the Group. Making sure all areas of the business understand, manage and protect customers, staff and other stakeholders. We need a technical expert and customer-focussed individual as this role requires significant levels of proactive cross-business engagement including at Executive and board committee level.
A business-critical role you will need to have experience and expertise in data protection, data privacy and compliance, as well as the ability to drive continuous improvement working closely with our Information Services and Technology Departments in how to do this. It is a cultural-transformation as well as customer-focussed role: you will regularly engage and influence at a senior level with all levels of the Group to make the technical detail of Data Protection meaningful.
