Client
Mid and South Essex CCGs
A partnership working to improve the health and wellbeing of communities living in Mid and South Essex is looking for a talented and driven leader.
Mid and South Essex Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) work together to improve the health and care of the 1.2 million people living across Braintree, Maldon, Chelmsford, Castle Point, Rochford, Southend, Thurrock and Basildon and Brentwood. Since our inception in 2013 we have achieved much as five individual CCGs and in the last three years we have been working together as a Joint Committee to commission services that are best done at scale such as cancer care, hospital services, and some aspects of mental health.
Part of the Mid and South Essex Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) which is committed to establishing an Integrated Care System (ICS) by April 2021, the five CCGs are commencing the work on a formal merger application to become one CCG. The aim is to leverage resources, knowledge and skills across all five CCGs whilst ensuring that we can work flexibly to meet the local health needs of the people we serve in each area.
We are seeking a talented leader with significant senior management experience gained within a comparably complex environment. Adept at aligning cultures; and with a track record of building partnerships, influencing across a diversity of stakeholders and delivering results, the successful candidate will have a background in leading patient and service user change across organisational boundaries.
This is a role which will offer challenge and reward in equal measure. We’re looking for an inspirational individual able to empower those around them and navigate ambiguity. If you think you can make a difference for the people of Mid and South Essex and are capable of meeting their high expectations, we want to hear from you.
