Hertfordshire & West Essex
Hertfordshire and West Essex CCGs
Hertfordshire and West Essex CCGs jointly serve a diverse population of over 1.5 million people. Together they have agreed on the benefits of greater collaboration and the creation of a more strategic commissioning approach. The 13 key partners in the STP have signed up to ‘A Healthier Future’, which is the blueprint for service provision to the population of H&WE, and have identified 5 key priorities which will be best realised in the creation of an integrated care system. They have also identified that by working more collaboratively across the CCGs, Commissioners could make better use of their total available capacity and capability, and are looking to align the leadership with clear place based management teams and systems of accountability.
Working with the three Clinical Chairs, the Independent Chair and HWE system leaders, the Joint Accountable Officer (Chief Executive) and STP/ICS Lead will be responsible for setting the overall direction, development and leadership of the three CCGs and the creation of the ICS in HWE.
We are seeking a talented leader who can influence across the many different facets of this exciting and complex role; supporting the CCGs in coming together, enabling the benefits of scale but with local delivery systems and connectivity, as well as leading and facilitating the wider system partners in developing an integrated care system that truly transcends organisational boundaries to produce better outcomes for local people.
We’re looking for an inspirational individual who has a background in leading change across organisational boundaries, someone who is adept at aligning cultures and a track record of building partnerships. We need someone to empower others around them, to innovate, who can navigate ambiguity and create a real sense of shared purpose towards improving services for the people of Hertfordshire and West Essex.
If you think you can make a difference for the people of Hertfordshire and West Essex, we want to hear from you.
