We are Accent, a housing association that has provided homes and services for a diverse range of customers since 1966. Our 20,000 properties, which are spread over the North, East and South of the country, are home to over 35,000 people. At Accent we put our customers first and exist to improve lives, providing people with high quality homes, affordably.

We believe Housing Associations exist to improve people’s lives and new Corporate Strategy 2021 sets out our agenda to achieve two key objectives. First, to deliver high quality homes in response to the UK’s housing crisis. Second, to transform how we provide services to our customers. Our ambition is to be recognised as a market leader for the quality of our homes and the effectiveness of our services. To help us achieve these aims, we’ve embarked on a major transformation programme to modernise and improve our focus on customer service. We are investing in new, state of the art IT systems and in developing our people to increase quality and choice across all that we do.

To assist us on our journey and to strengthen our team, we are looking for a Head of Digital Innovation who can help us fundamentally change the way we deliver our business and maximise the use of our data to better shape our services.  We want to transform the way we go about our business, how we interact with our customers, creating an environment where staff and customers are enabled to take more responsibility and help them to make the choices which are right for them.  This is a pivotal role in helping us become a truly brilliant business.

We want hands-on, proactive responsibility takers who make it easy for others to take action.  We want professional people, people who aspire to be part of a brilliantly run social business who are not afraid to take tough decisions and who are keen to always do what needs to be done.  We want ambitious people, those who see no limits to what we and individuals can achieve and to what others can do for themselves.  It also goes without saying that we also need people who can embrace our passion and purpose and who can work with us to deliver a fantastic customer experience.

For further information about the role or for a confidential discussion, please contact our adviser Simon Wing on 020 7426 3976 or Matt Malone on 0113 205 6063.
