As north Wales’ largest housing association with over 6,300 homes, we are proud to provide quality, affordable homes and services to our tenants. During our first six years we invested £137 million in our properties to achieve the Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) and during 2018 we began to increase our footprint across the region.

We’re not an organisation that stands still. Over the coming years we will have built a significant number of homes outside the county, with an ambition to be providing several hundred more high quality homes across north Wales. We’re about to re-brand, we’ve launched a new commercial subsidiary and we’re investing to further increase digital services to tenants. Although highly ambitious, we are equally determined to protect and develop the rich culture and heritage of the communities we serve.

This is a new and exciting role for a qualified finance professional with a real passion for creating a culture of excellence and helping a team thrive in an expanding, ambitious business. The Director of Finance will provide expert advice and support to the Chief Executive and Board during a time of significant growth and positive change, supporting our strategic objectives and vision. This is an opportunity for a leader who can quickly build strong internal and external relationships, working at pace to provide pragmatic, commercial solutions. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will inspire the finance team to continue to build their knowledge and capability as the organisation evolves.

With a track record of leading and developing a high-performing finance team, you will provide first class insight and advice to help deliver our growth agenda.  Although experience of social housing is not essential, you will certainly bring energy, a passion for our sector and a strong alignment to our vision and values. You will ideally be a ‘hands on’ leader as well as someone who can create and drive the finance strategy. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable although not essential for this post.

For a confidential initial discussion, please contact our advising consultants, Nick Roberts or Marcia Williams.

Closing date: 5:00pm on Friday 3rd May 2019.

Fel cymdeithas dai fwyaf gogledd Cymru gyda dros 6,300 o gartrefi, rydym yn falch o ddarparu cartrefi a gwasanaethau safonol a fforddiadwy i’n tenantiaid. Dros y chwe blynedd cyntaf rydym wedi buddsoddi £137 miliwn yn ein heiddo i gyrraedd Safon Ansawdd Tai Cymru (WHQS) ac yn ystod 2018 fe ddechreuon ni ledaenu ar draws y rhanbarth.

Nid cwmni sy’n aros yn yr unfan ydym ni. Dros y blynyddoedd nesaf byddwn wedi adeiladu nifer sylweddol o gartrefi y tu allan i’r sir, gydag uchelgais i ddarparu cannoedd yn fwy o gartrefi o ansawdd uchel ledled gogledd Cymru. Rydym ar fin ail-frandio, rydym wedi lansio is-gwmni masnachol newydd ac rydym yn buddsoddi i gynyddu ymhellach y gwasanaethau digidol i denantiaid. Er ein bod yn uchelgeisiol iawn, rydym yr un mor benderfynol i warchod a datblygu diwylliant a threftadaeth cyfoethog y cymunedau a wasanaethwn.

Mae hon yn swydd newydd a chyffrous i ymarferwr cyllid proffesiynol sy’n teimlo’n frwd dros greu diwylliant o ragoriaeth a helpu tîm i ffynnu mewn busnes uchelgeisiol sy’n ehangu. Bydd y Cyfarwyddwr Cyllid yn rhoi cyngor a chefnogaeth arbenigol i’r Prif Weithredwr a’r Bwrdd mewn adeg o dwf sylweddol a newid cadarnhaol, i gefnogi’n hamcanion strategol a’n gweledigaeth. Dyma gyfle i arweinydd a all adeiladu perthnasu cryf yn gyflym, yn fewnol ac allanol, a gweithio ar gyflymder i ddarparu datrysiadau ymarferol, masnachol. Gan adrodd yn ôl i’r Prif Weithredwr, byddwn yn ysbrydoli’r tîm cyllid i barhau i adeiladau eu gwybodaeth a’u gallu wrth i’r cwmni esblygu.

Gyda hanes blaenorol o arwain a datblygu tîm cyllid sy’n perfformio’n uchel, byddwch yn cynnig treiddgarwch a chyngor i helpu i gyflawni’n agenda twf. Er nad yw profiad o dai cymdeithasol yn hanfodol, yn sicr bydd angen i chi ddod ag egni, diddordeb cryf yn ein sector a gallu cyd-fynd yn llwyr â’n gweledigaeth a’n gwerthoedd. Yn ddelfrydol byddwch yn arweinydd ymarferol yn ogystal â rhywun a all greu a gyrru’r strategaeth gyllid. Mae’r gallu i siarad Cymraeg yn ddymunol er nad yw’n hanfodol ar gyfer y swydd hon.

I gael trafodaeth gychwynnol gyfrinachol, gallwch gysylltu â’n hymgynghorwyr, Nick Roberts neu Marcia Williams.

Dyddiad cau: 5:00pm dydd Gwener 3 Mai 2019.
