The Cheltenham Trust is seeking an interim CEO to lead and inspire the charity responsible for Cheltenham’s cultural and leisure sites, including iconic listed buildings, which attract a million user visits each year.

Established in 2014, the Trust engages audiences through the arts, heritage, performance, tourism, sport, and play and wellbeing opportunities. Our facilities include: The Wilson – Gloucestershire’s premier Art Gallery and Museum, Cheltenham Town Hall, Pittville Pump Room, Leisure at Cheltenham and the Prince of Wales Stadium.

We are looking for a candidate who is used to negotiating commercial contracts who knows how to increase revenues and who can spot opportunities for us to grow and develop.  The Trust has an engaged board and an appetite for change and there are great opportunities here to really grow and develop a well-known community organisation.

We are seeking an energetic, results focused Chief Executive to take us on the next phase of our journey. Our next phase of growth is focused around commercialisation, financial sustainability, income diversification and enhancement of activities. There will be significant change and development along the way and that is positive for us. Its an exciting time to work with at The Cheltenham Trust as we establish our future business model.

We are offering a contract position of at least one year and possibly up to two.
