We are now seeking an exceptional Deputy Commissioner and Director of Operations, to play a key role as a member of the LFB Corporate Team reporting directly to Dany Cotton, London Fire Commissioner. You will hold responsibility for all fire stations, fire safety and operational response across London Fire Brigade, ensuring effective capability and developing the overall strategy and long-term plans to continually improve the service that protect London’s communities.
Effective leadership is essential, and a proven track record of leading significant fire service operations will be required in order adapt to the complexities of this role. You will be comfortable working in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders, with a political awareness to help understand the role of support the London Fire Commissioner.
