We are seeking a new Executive Director to assume responsibility for an exciting portfolio of services which serve our vibrant and diverse borough. We are passionate about working closely with our communities to ensure we deliver exceptional services to our residents. We are now looking for new talent to joint our Corporate Leadership team to continue the nationally recognised work of our retiring Executive Director.
With responsibility for Adult Social Care, Public Health, Crime Reduction, Public Safety, Regulatory Services and, Arts, Culture and Leisure you will be the Statutory DASS for Lewisham. As a key member of our Corporate Leadership team you will work collaboratively across the Council and with key partners including the Voluntary and Community Sector, Police, Probation and Health.
You will be a highly experienced local government professional with the ability to assume statutory responsibility for Adult Social Care Services and a track record of innovative delivery of high performing services. Your highly regarded relationship and communication skills will ensure you are trusted by our partners, elected members and officers to deliver the very best outcomes for our residents in a financially demanding climate.
You will have substantial experience in building and maintaining strategic partnerships and will thrive on the opportunities that this role can offer, in order to provide high quality services to Lewisham’s residents.
