BSW STP and CCGs work collaboratively and have recently strengthened the relationship further through developing a Commissioning Alliance Group. We have a long history of working together to collaboratively commission consistent and efficient services for our populations. This partnership has been underpinned by formal and informal arrangements and relationships that ensure that we leverage resources, knowledge and skills across all three CCGs whilst ensuring that each CCG is able to respond flexibly to the health needs of its local population as directed by its members.
The three CCGs recognise that commissioning functions needs to be built around a single executive team with a single Chief Executive and maintain the three separate CCGs. This will enable us to deliver on transformation agenda required of us as commissioners; specifically, financial stability and delivery of constitutional standards.
The Chief Executive of BSW CCGs will also be SRO for the STP focusing on how to improve the local population’s health and wellbeing, improve service quality, support workforce development and deliver a sustainable financial plan for the system.
This is a role of significant scope and scale so we are seeking an exceptional leader with a track record of delivering transformational change through health or social care commissioning at scale and pace. We need an inspirational individual who is both pragmatic and aspirational to achieve great results together; someone with strategic vision, able to bring clarity to complexity and the ability to build effective partnerships to deliver tangible improvement in services.
