We’ve created a new role of Head of Strategic Communications, to build on our good work to date. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering our communications strategy that supports our Corporate Plan and place shaping strategy. Under your leadership and direction, you will create a proactive service that instils creativity and innovation. You will proactively engage with citizens, partners and stakeholders to explain and promote our direction of travel, as well as supporting and improving staff engagement. Just as important will be your political nous and your ability to work and inspire confidence within a political environment.

If you have excellent leadership and change management skills, the ability to influence partners and a proven track record of success in delivering effective communications and engagement strategies, then we would like to hear from you.
