We are currently undertaking an ambitious and exciting transformation to shape the DIO of the future, the success of which depends on the strategic development of our 4,500-strong committed and talented workforce.
Reporting directly to our CEO, the Head of People & Capability will play a vital role helping DIO and its people realise their potential. They will be trusted to develop and implement a People Strategy that will help us secure and then hone the capabilities and culture we need to deliver to our customers, now and into the future. Supported by a dedicated team of specialists, they will take the lead on the workforce changes needed to support DIO’s vision of being an expert estates service business
You will be an experienced leader who has implemented complex HR strategy across a large and dispersed workforce. You will bring excellent understanding of HR best practice, and a track record applying both technical expertise and wider strategic acumen to environments undergoing significant change. You will also point to an impressive track record motivating and enthusing staff to embrace new ways of working and your approach balances strategic vision with practical experience embedding sustainable change in multifaceted organisations. Ideally, you will also be familiar with the challenges specific to the Civil Service and wider public sector.
