Ministry of Defence
The DIO is currently undertaking an ambitious and challenging transformation, which involves changing the way that we work with our clients across the armed forces. We aim to provide first class estate expertise and delivery insight across the whole of the MoD portfolio and give our clients confidence that they are providing the best working environment for those defending the security of our nation.
This role will be a key enabler for achieving outcomes at the strategic level, working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and as part of the Senior Leadership team; you will help to shape the future of the organisation’s estate, supporting the focus on disposals, with an ambition to raise £2 billion. The scale of change brings a substantial degree of scrutiny and profile to this role and the property challenge as a result, will require a leader to present to senior stakeholders, customer, and political leaders on a regular basis.
You will be an accomplished estates professional with proven leadership skills. Our focus is on improving performance, which, in order to deliver, will require you to bring vision, strategic and operational know how and an ability to engage with stakeholders at a diverse range of levels. Combining your experience in operational infrastructure delivery with strong leadership skills, will enable you to add value to this position and the organisation.
