St John’s Foundation has a long and proud history of improving the lives of the citizens of Bath and the surrounding area, building resilience in our communities. Our work began in 1174 and we continue today in an ever-changing context, serving the needs of an increasingly diverse population. And whilst our heritage is important, our future and that of our communities is our focus.

Forward looking we have built commercial income streams and diversity in our programmes of work to ensure we can continue to meet the needs of our stakeholders. Our new Chair will be experienced in leading a board of trustees, and able to provide our new Chief Executive with positive support plus robust, challenging scrutiny of the work we are doing.
You will have a demonstrable track record of commercial leadership at Board level, preferably as an existing or previous Chair. With the ability to and evidence of creating high performance Boards, you will come to St John’s Foundation ready to make a real impact.
