Are you looking for your next career move, within the NHS environment?  Whether it’s into your first Director role or seeking a move to develop your career, NEL are looking for a Director of Finance to lead and deliver its finance function.  Reporting to the Executive Director of Finance the appointed individual will ensure the function delivers a high quality and commercially viable support to Clinical Commissioning Groups, NHS England and other customers.

 

To ensure that we are able to meet the ever changing needs of our customers, our environment is one that is consistently evolving.  We are seeking a qualified accountant with a demonstrable understanding of the context within which we operate, the challenges our customers face and the principles to which we adhere.

 

This person should be able to able to evidence a track record of leading and developing a finance function within a large, complex NHS organisation.  Commercially astute; and a natural leader of people, above all else the successful individual will demonstrate an approach which is truly focussed on supporting us to deliver the best solutions to our customers.
