Solace Women's Aid
Solace Women’s Aid changes lives. For more than 40 years, we’ve supported women and children in London to build safe and strong lives. We are the leading and highly trusted provider of specialist services in London, with a reputation for quality and we occupy a unique position in the sector. Our vision is of a world where women and children live their lives free from domestic and sexual abuse.
We’re an ambitious organisation that doesn’t stand still and two years into our next five-year strategy – The Way Forward 2016-2021 – we are preparing for further innovation and growth that builds on our strengths in service delivery and increases our standing as a sector leader and influencer. At this important point in our journey, we’re looking for an exceptional woman to become our next Chief Executive to succeed Mary Mason who steps down at the end of 2018. As an experienced, dynamic, experienced leader, you will be passionately committed to prevent violence and abuse as well as providing services to meet the needs of survivors particularly women and girls.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring we continue to extend our reach and impact. We are also strong influencers of policy at national level and shape public opinion based on our own research, women’s voices, and advocate for change alongside them. With strong operational roots and an entrepreneurial approach, you will understand how to deliver commissioned services and develop new approaches to increase our income. Values driven, you will be adept at building and nurturing relationships with the vision to inspire and influence across the organization and externally at local and national level, collaborating with other organisations to help us achieve our vision. You will work with a committed and engaged Board of Trustees and above all, you will keep those we are there to support at the heart of everything we do.
