Are you a visionary leader in Digital and AI looking to make a tangible social impact?

Havebury Housing Partnership owns and manages over 7,500 homes across Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and Essex. As a community-focused housing association, we are committed to providing safe, comfortable, and secure homes for those in need. Our vision is clear: to be a trusted provider of good quality homes and services.

This is a pivotal moment for Havebury. We're embarking on an ambitious new IT Strategy, focused on leveraging data effectively and significantly enhancing our digital offerings, including substantial investment in our customer app. To provide the oversight and scrutiny required to deliver this, we are now seeking a new Board Member with expertise in Digital and AI to join our Board team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape Havebury’s strategic direction, innovation, and compliance in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. You will provide high-level insight into data governance, AI ethics, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies, ensuring our digital strategies align with regulatory standards and resident needs. We welcome applicants with proven leadership in data science, digital strategy, AI or technology innovation with experience applying these skills in customer-facing sectors.

As a Board Member, you will act as a bridge between technical and non-technical colleagues, helping interpret digital matters in a governance context. You will be a strategic thinker, a collaborative team player, and a strong communicator with a commitment to Havebury’s values and social purpose.

We are proud to have recently received the top consumer rating (C1) from the Regulator of Social Housing and remain committed to improving lives and creating social value for our communities. We want our Board to reflect the diversity of the residents we serve and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, including those with lived experience of social housing.
