At Eastlight Community Homes, we are a vibrant, resident-led housing association serving the East of England. We proudly own and manage over 14,500 homes across a diverse mix of social rent, affordable rent, and shared ownership. Our purpose is simple: together with our communities, we create affordable homes and great neighbourhoods that people are proud to live in.

Having delivered our integration and consolidation post-merger, we are now delivering our new Corporate Strategy (2024-27). We will be investing in the places where our customers live, building the data that will support our performance long-term, boosting our digital offer to those who want greater online access and ensuring we are on our way to reaching net carbon zero by 2050. We foster a culture of openness and collaboration, where leaders are empowered to innovate and support their teams to thrive. As part of this, we are forward thinking and open-minded, seeking best practice from out of sector exemplars of customer service.

This is an exciting time to join us as we are reshaping our Housing Directorate, moving from specialist teams to a patch-based model. We are now looking for two new Heads of Service to lead on this, where your ideas, energy, and leadership will make a real impact.

· Our new Head of Housing - Neighbourhoods will lead the patch-based service delivery across housing management, neighbourhood teams and local community engagement.

· Our new Head of Housing - Operations will lead the specialist teams across our contact centre, leaseholder services, income management, voids and allocations, intensive housing support and safeguarding along with involvement in our digital transformation.

These are pivotal leadership roles that will guide our teams through change, foster collaboration across the organisation, and help embed a customer-first culture.

We’re looking for curious, proactive, and ambitious leaders who are ready to unlock potential, drive innovation, and strengthen relationships with our customers and stakeholders. You’ll bring a proven ability to deliver results across a broad remit, confidently challenge the status quo, and lead teams through change. Comfortable challenging where necessary, ideal candidates will have experience reporting at committee level and advocating for their teams across an organisation.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your leadership journey and help shape the future of housing services in the East of England, we’d love to hear from you.
