At ForHousing we own around 19,000 homes across the North West. Everything we do aims to positively impact the lives of our social housing tenants and deliver on what matters to them and their communities. By listening to tenants and keeping them at the heart of all we do, we provide safe, well maintained homes and deliver customer focused, equitable and efficient services, as well as a great place to work for colleagues. We always want to do better. Through our tenant focused, inclusive and agile culture, ForHousing is a place where everyone can thrive and be themselves.

We are now looking for two new Board Members who will play a key role in ensuring we deliver our strategic objectives, have strong governance frameworks and remain focused on delivering our vision. Whether this is your first or next non-executive role, you’ll bring to us impressive strategic, communication and collaboration skills.

One of our new Board Members will be an experienced professional with a breadth of strategic assets and property investment knowledge. Ideally with insight into residential property, your career to date may have been within the social housing sector or one with comparable priorities. Our other opportunity is for a candidate who brings oversight of the entire property development cycle. You’ll bring the commercial acumen and strategic perspectives required to help ensure that we achieve our ambition of delivering over 1,300 new homes during the next five years.

We pride ourselves on offering colleagues a place to thrive, creating an inclusive culture. We particularly welcome applications from candidates who are currently underrepresented at decision-making levels in our sector, including women, people from ethnic minorities within the UK, LGBTQ+ people, disabled people, younger people and people with personal experience of living in social housing.

If you have the skills to help us deliver our ambitious plans, we’d love to hear from you. For further information, please download the candidate pack by clicking the ‘Continue’ button below.
