Are you passionate about global inclusion and improving lives through assistive technology? Join ISPO, a multidisciplinary global organisation dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for people in need of prosthetics, orthotics, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices.

We are seeking a globally minded, proactive, and highly organised Head of Secretariat to support the delivery of ISPO’s 2024–2030 strategic plan. This pivotal role works closely with the President, Board and international team to ensure their diverse global membership remains engaged, supported, and connected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations and governance of ISPO, working closely with the President and globally dispersed Board
  • Facilitate communication across time zones and cultures
  • Coordinate international activities and events, including the ISPO World Congress
  • Foster inclusive engagement across ISPO’s global network

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience reporting to Boards and ensuring strong governance, ideally in a global nonprofit
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills across diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Highly proactive self-starter; flexibility to work across time zones and travel internationally on occasion

Desirable:

  • Experience in global membership organisations
  • Evidence of income generation and fundraising capability
  • Background in the field of rehabilitation, assistive technology, or disability
  • Multilingual abilities
