Trident Group is dedicated to the development of sustainable, diverse, co-operative, caring and vibrant communities. Our people-centred organisation is built upon three pillars of: quality affordable homes and services; care and support; and social investment and enterprise. With over 60 years’ experience of building homes and delivering vital care and support services, we want to continue creating thriving and prospering communities by being a beacon of hope.

Working across 16 local authorities, our Group includes: Trident Housing, where we build homes and provide landlord and maintenance services; Trident Reach, where we provide vital, specialised care and support services across the Midlands; and Trident Star, our commercial body. With an annual turnover of more than £42m, and owning assets of over £190m, we employ more than 750 staff, and provide training places and apprenticeships for many more.

This is a newly created role with strategic leadership responsibility for our Information Technology team and for embedding the information governance strategy, policies and procedures across our Group. A key aspect of the role will be to develop and implement a data strategy, ensuring the provision of high quality Group-wide data, and leading a data management superuser group. The role will also lead our HR team, developing and overseeing our People and Culture strategies.

You’ll bring a track record of leading forward looking and business focused technology teams in a comparably complex and regulated sector, along with experience of creating and implementing data strategies, policies and procedures. You will appreciate the importance of data governance and bring insight into utilising Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI. We are looking for an aspiring or established Executive Director who thrives in a collegiate environment where you can have a significant impact. An excellent relationship builder, you’ll be a leader who works at pace and motivates teams to deliver results which will underpin our continued success.
