A big thank to all the people who supported Black History Month at GatenbySanderson.

Black History Month offers an opportunity to reflect on achievements in promoting diversity and equality through more representative leadership.   We firmly stand against racism and inequality but these startling facts, collated by GatenbySanderson Researcher Isha Hussain who is also part of our Race Affinity Group, highlight starkly the racial equality gaps that still remain.  GatenbySanderson champion under-represented groups and we recognise that greater progress is needed still.

Thank you to the influential leaders steering our public services who took the time to share their thoughts and insights into how to shape organisational and system change, while advancing a culture of inclusivity.

Thank you also to Jade Beckles, our Diversity & Inclusion Advisor, for all the informative and honest sessions for GatenbySanderson colleagues during this month to not only celebrate Black history, culture, excellence, love, and joy but also offer the opportunity for us to take time to pause and reflect.

As Black History Month draws to a close, we remain totally committed to continue to promote diversity and equality in the public sector through more representative leadership.  Doing more, and not just saying more, is important to us every single month of the year.
