At the start of 2011, Zoe joined our Interim Leadership Team to strengthen our capacity in the North East, Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber. During this time she has led on numerous key assignments at the top 3 tiers for interim and consultancy projects across all of Local Government.

She has been with GatenbySanderson for 10 years and has been involved in the recruitment of numerous permanent Chief Executives, Executive Directors, Heads of Service, Assistant Directors and Programme/Project Directors within Local Government and the broader public sector. This has included working with county, unitary, met and district councils, Housing organisations waste authorities, regulatory organisations and the voluntary sector. She has recruited across all disciplines at the top 3 tiers.

During her career she has been involved in major restructuring work in Housing and Local Government, including project managing the internal assimilation process and external recruitment for the top 2 tiers of the two new unitary authorities in Cheshire (58 posts).

Zoe graduated from Leeds University and worked as an accountant for Arthur Anderson for 4 years. She moved into recruitment 15 years ago, starting in the private sector before moving into senior level Executive Search & Selection for the public sector.
