Nick has spent more than 10 years recruiting senior interim managers into the public sector. He began his recruitment career at one the world’s largest global recruitment business, part of the team responsible for setting up their public sector practice. Here, he specialised in recruiting project and programme management professionals into central and local government, spending eight consecutive months as the practices highest billers. After two and a half years he joined a competitor to establish their public sector interim executive practice. Here, Nick spent nearly 4 years recruiting predominantly board level interim managers into the health and local government markets, as well other parts of the public sector.

Most recently, Nick headed up central government executive search and interim for a leading recruiter, recruiting up to board level across disciplines across government departments, agencies and non-department public bodies.

Away from recruitment, Nick spent 4 years as an elected Councillor for a district council in Hertfordshire, where he chaired the employment panel, which amongst other things, oversaw the successful recruitment a new chief executive and restructuring of their senior leadership team at time of huge change across local government.
