Consultant, Leadership and Talent Consultancy
Alison is a Business Psychologist and a member of the British Psychological Society, the Division of Occupational Psychology and the Association for Business Psychology. She is a Registered Test User of Occupational Ability and Personality Tests. She has experience delivering assessment and development solutions at all levels, across a range of industries, within the private and public sectors. As Assessment and Development Consultant at GatenbySanderson, Alison specialises in the assessment, selection and development of senior executives.
After completing an MSc in Occupational Psychology, Alison began her career in recruitment, working in-house for a Management Consulting business. Alison then worked for the Royal Household at Buckingham Palace for 6 years where she gained significant HR experience supporting the Lord Chamberlain and Private Secretary’s Departments. Since leaving the Royal Household, Alison has gained broad consultancy experience. Some of her projects have included: designing and delivering volume assessment centres; one-to-one executive leadership assessments; design and delivery of development centres for high potential programmes; designing and delivering team building courses; and career coaching.
Working across different client bases, Alison endeavours to build strong relationships and deep understanding of the culture and needs the organisations she works with in order to provide tailored solutions to support optimal business performance and individual career success.
