Papworth Trust
Not For Profit
GBP Unremunerated up to 2 days per month

Papworth Trust is a disability charity with a proud 100 year heritage.  Throughout its history the organisation has sought to challenge society's perceptions about what disabled people can do, as well as delivering first class services to support disabled people to live their everyday lives.

We are at an important point in our development, and against a backdrop of continued challenge and change for social care, are embarking on a period of reviewing what we want to achieve as an organisation and redefining our future strategic direction.

We are now seeking up to five new, high quality Trustees to join our dedicated and highly experienced Board to help set our vision and strategy and ensure that we are governed to the highest possible standards, ensuring we are positioned to deliver our strategic priorities and lead the organisation through the exciting yet challenging times ahead.

We are looking for big picture thinkers with proven experience of helping move organisations forward. We are especially interested in individuals who bring deep experience gained at a senior level with a background in finance or investment or knowledge of asset utilisation, income generation within a commercial or entrepreneurial environment; organisational design and cultural change, transformational change, external relations and product design and innovation.

You will be established and credible in your field and will possess outstanding communication and influencing skills and the ability to galvanise external relationships and build support for Papworth Trust.

Ultimately we will want you to share our desire to make a lasting difference to disabled people’s lives now and in the future and you will be as excited as we are about our potential to turn bold ambitions into reality.

For an informal discussion about the role, contact our advising consultants Katy Giddens or Rebecca O’Connor (020 7426 3373).

The closing date for applications is Friday 4th August 2017.
