BUILDING HOMES. BUILDING COMMUNITIES

At the London Borough of Hounslow, you will make a real difference to people’s lives and impact on the wider community through imaginative and responsive leadership and project delivery. As the Head of the Resident Services Division you will contribute to the transformation of housing provision in Hounslow, leading the delivery of excellent housing services for the Borough’s residents.

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Housing, your role will be vital in ensuring we deliver our commitments to residents. This is a significant service, serving 13,500 homes, 2,500 leaseholders, and a social housing new build programme of 700 over the next four years. You will lead resident services across all types of tenure, manage the Council’s housing stock and relations with residents and stakeholders. Tenancy management, income collection, ASB prevention and estate maintenance and responsive repairs services will be your responsibility. This is a Chief Officer level role with a key input into Hounslow’s housing strategy.

About you

A passion for housing and delivering high quality services is a must, as is a track record of building partnerships and improving stakeholder engagement. You will be a proven leader who can drive transformation and integrate service delivery with strategic business objectives and systems. You will understand the dynamics of cultural change and bring a track record of leading improvement in an organisation of comparable scale and complexity.
