The Faculty is one of the largest within the University comprising the Institute of Sport and Human Sciences, the Institute of Health and the Institute of Community and Society. With over 400 staff and 9,000 students, the faculty has a diverse range of programmes. The Institute of Health includes a wide range of professionally qualifying courses. Our newly developed skills centres offer hands-on teaching of nursing and midwifery skills through a comprehensive range of working/teaching aids and models.
We are seeking candidates for the role of Director of the Institute of Health (Associate Dean) to lead our Institute of Health. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership within the area of health and have knowledge and understanding of health and healthcare in higher education. They will have experience of providing strategic leadership and management and contribute to achieving the Institute, Faculty and University strategic vision and aims, whilst developing and delivering on the relevant strategic plans.
