The Faculty is one of the largest within the University comprising the Institute of Sport and Human Sciences, the Institute of Health and the Institute of Community and Society.  With over 400 staff and 9,000 students, the faculty has a diverse range of programmes. The Institute of Community and Society covers the areas of public health, social work and social care.  

We are seeking candidates for the role of Director of the Institute of Community and Society (Associate Dean) to lead our Institute.  The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership within the area of public health, social care or social work and have knowledge and understanding of these areas in higher education.  They will have experience of providing strategic leadership and management and contribute to achieving the Institute, Faculty and University strategic vision and aims, whilst developing and delivering on the relevant strategic plans.
