ICT Senior Manager 

A leading London Borough is looking for an Interim to oversee the ICT Services which will see it commission the best commercial options integrated with its quality in-house capability. The Council is committed to moving towards an architected approach to align its technology and information assets with the Council’s current and proposed business needs. This will also support the wider consistent integration of services both across the Council and with partners. Whilst the Head of ICT remains accountable for the delivery of the strategy, the ICT Manager will be responsible for its implementation. In this position you will have significant autonomy and will initiate a range of complex work in the operational area including planning and monitoring the function’s output.  You will be expected to make decisions on a range of technical and professional issues in line with the ICT service plan and wider strategy. Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Accountable for the effectiveness of operational management and practice within their functional area, including financial management
  • Provide a professional, customer centric service which aims to respond proactively and positively to current, new and emerging business requirements
  • Effective working relationships both within the functional area and with wider stakeholders
  • Developing and agreeing, with the Head of Service, an annual work programme

The is inside IR35 c£500 and expected to last for 6 months.  The closing date is 12pm Thursday 20th December.
