Ministry of Defence
The DIO is currently undertaking an ambitious and challenging transformation, which involves changing the way that we work with our clients across the armed forces. We aim to provide first class estate expertise and delivery insight across the whole of the MoD portfolio and give our clients confidence that they are providing the best working environment for those defending the security of our nation. Our plan to successfully achieving this transformation is based on a regional approach, ensuring that our leadership team maintains a close-touch engagement with key estates, and that the needs of our customers are at the heart of everything we do.
In order to facilitate this transformation, we have recently recruited three key positions across the southern and central regions and are now looking to replicate in Scotland and Northern Ireland. This Head of Regional Delivery will take responsibility for a large geographical patch, and work closely with a breadth of clients from across the armed forces to develop strategies and programmes of work for facilities management and capital projects for often large and complex estates. You will manage the delivery of these strategies, and working in partnership with suppliers to ensure that services are being delivered in-line with expectations, and operational control is maintained at all times.
You will be an experienced leader within an estates or property management environment, with a demonstrable track record of successfully managing a diverse range of stakeholders across multi-site contracts. You will be highly commercial, equally confident in demonstrating value to customers as holding suppliers to account, and you should be able to evidence an ability to develop cultures of continuous improvement and using lessons learned and insights to inform strategy as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
